What IS under that hat?

"Every organ in the body is connected to the one under your hat"

~BJ Palmer, Developer of Chiropractic

It is not often that we think about, consciously, that our brain controls and coordinates ever cell, tissue, organ and gland in our body. Most people have never really given that ANY thought. Thankfully, it happens without our having to think about it...all day long, every day, in every circumstance. This amazing phenomena is powered by our innate intelligence. Innate is that inborn wisdom that starts working within us from the moment of conception. It is the energy that allows a sperm to fertilize an egg, coordinates it's replication in a systemized way that facilitates the formation, growth and development of a tiny little human and all with little to no assistance from the carrying mother. It is the energy that stimulates a chemical reaction to an emotional situation allowing you to experience a sensation that leads to a physiological response as your body integrates and adapts to the situation. It is the energy that takes a cheese burger that you ingest, breaks it down into tiny particles by releasing enzymes and acids so that your body can absorb the nutrients and excrete the wastes. This all happens as you are breathing, your heart is beating, perhaps you are working or walking or driving a car... How well do you think this would go for you if you had to maintain all of this on your own - consciously??

Why is this important?

"Nature needs no help, just no interference" ~BJ Palmer

When innate is flowing freely, nature runs its course in a way that supports health and vitality. When there is interference, the body starts to adapt in a way that expresses as poor physiology (pain, inflammation, fatigue, degeneration, stress, failure, etc.)

Make no mistake...there is not faulty physiology, there is stress adaptation. Our state of health is a reflection of our level of stress and adaptation. (Stress being the 3 T's - Traumas, Toxins and Thoughts). The 3 T's lead to subluxations in the spinal column. This can show up as physical, functional, structural, internal or lifestyle imbalances - usually a combination of a few, if not all of these. This will significantly impact your quality of life.

Chiropractors focus on the detection and correction of these areas of interference to the nervous system (brain, spinal cord and nerves). When there is interference, the tone or vibration of communication is decreased - similar to a cell phone with only 1 or 2 bars. Most everyone here has experienced the frustration of when our phone has limited signal... when the body has a lesser signal from the brain to the body or the body back to the brain, we start to see and feel the effects of a negatively adapted state. Adjustments to the spine directly influence the tone of the nerves and spinal cord, creating change. Removing the interference, the body is able to work better and heal faster.

So I ask... If your brain controls and coordinates all cells, tissues, organs and glands in the body and innate powers the body's ability to adapt to our environment - How important is it that your spine and nervous system are functioning as optimally as possible without interference, as often as possible from this point forward?

"Medicine is the study of disease and what causes man to die. Chiropractic is the study of health and what causes man to live. ~BJ Palmer

"All the drugs in the world cannot adjust a subluxated vertebra" ~BJ Palmer

Can you think of anyone who wouldn't benefit from the removal of these areas of interference? Have your family and friends checked by a Chiropractor! Safe, gentle, effective...
