We started this series last week with Alignment. Most of the feed back that I have gotten so far was in regard to the alignment in core values. Being objective about assessing our own priorities can be a challenge. I have been a long time self-proclaimed meat-a-tarian. I have noticed, the past 4 months or so, my preferences have shifted some and I have had a craving for more vegetable based meals. Butter Chicken is one of my favorite meals. I love Thai and Indian food and I enjoy cooking but with my busy schedule, I don't get to it as often as I would like. With a lighter afternoon, I felt inspired and came up with this recipe that seems worth sharing: 

 

I used tofu, but honestly...in making this again, I would use potatoes instead (I don't really enjoy the texture of tofu, nor the idea that soy is most often GMO) My last time buying tofu was in grad school when I was "vegetarian". Around the office, we often talk about being ARMED for health… what does that mean, exactly?

 

Health is an individual journey. There is no cookie cutter method for overall health that applies to all, all of the time. It is, however, a journey – never a destination to be reached. It is a work in progress until we leave the earthly plain. Getting ARMED is the acronym we use to help guide the process of claiming your health – whether gaining what’s been lost or improving upon a solid foundation.

It’s a new year and being a change agent…I have made some recent changes and updates to accommodate the requests we have received by those of you that have provided some feedback! (Which we greatly appreciate).

 

For starters, we have this new blog…

Being new to blogging, I would like to ask for your patience and understanding as we play around in sharing info until we find a flow and our true voice through writing. Our intention with this is to share tips and tricks in regard to health, fitness, nutrition, stress reduction and management, parenting, kid stuff and more, as well as share stories and testimonials from around the office and around our South Sound Community.

 

We have expanded our hours!

We now offer Friday afternoon hours with Dr. Megan adjusting as well as Saturday morning hours every week with Dr. Megan, Dr. Genie and/or Dr. Jess. Our Saturday hours will remain 9 – 11 am.
